Dignity

This 2014 workshop featured an international and interdiciplinary group of scholars writing chapters for a book I'm editing for Oxford UP entiteld, Dignity: A History. The book will appear late 2015 or early 2016 as part of OUP's new series, Oxford Philosophical Concepts.

Moral Sentimentalism

This was my most recent event, which I co-organized with Karsten Stueber at Holy Cross. This was another workshop conference featuring authors in a volume Karsten and I are editing for Cambridge University Press.

Empathy & Ethics

This massive event took place in 2011. It combined over 20 elite ethicists and a competitve CFP for graduate students. The main papers on the program were published in a special issue of the Southern Journal of Philsophy together with replies from critics. Here's a link to the full conference schdedule.

Others' Minds

I ran this special speaker series during the Fall of 2010, to coincide with a seminar on cognitive science which I ran for the Institute of Intelligent Systems - the largest interdiciplinary center at Memphis.
